Out and about in Hong Kong

Today, we walked around Tsim Sha Tsui and checked out the view of the city from Victoria Harbor. Ate some really tasty Indian food for lunch, so yummy! After a nice long afternoon nap, we walked down to the harbor and watched the light show. If you've never seen or heard of it, it's amazing! Every evening at 8pm, many of the buildings and skyscrapers light up with different colors and patterns of neons and lasers, all synced together with music. Thousands of people gather to watch, and it truly was amazing.

After the show we checked out an Irish pub near our hostel, where I drank a VB (Victoria Bitter) for the first time in over 7 years! VB is an Australian beer, and needless to say I drank a lot of it when I studied abroad in Australia back in 2003. Ah the memories...

Anyway, Hong Kong is absolutely crazy. So many people from so many different places. It's definitely one of the most diverse places I've ever been. But I'm loving every minute of it.
